Benefiting the Widows Annuity Foundation
Become a legacy. Make an impact that lasts. One round of golf, a lifetime of stability for the widows we serve — every dollar raised funds monthly stipends, not overhead.
Towards Our Goal
Live total from our Givebutter page. Sponsorships paid by invoice or check are added there as they clear.
Why This Tournament
Nearly 1 in 3 widows over 65 lives at or near poverty, and income drops an average of 37% in the first year after loss. WAF closes that gap with monthly stipends for life. Tournament proceeds go straight into the stipend fund.
Event Day
A four-person scramble format built for relationship-building — bring clients, bring your team, bring your board.
Registration and breakfast open before the shotgun.
Lunch and awards once all golfers have wrapped up, with the silent auction closing at noon.
Brand Placement
Each package puts your name in a different part of the day. See the full packages below.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Cash sponsorships are tax-deductible less the value of any benefits you receive in return — see the FAQ below. Sponsorships close November 15, 2026. Logos received after that date may not make printed signage — placement cannot be guaranteed.

Questions
WAF is a registered 501(c)(3). Cash sponsorships are deductible to the extent allowed by law, less the value of any goods or services WAF provides you in return — golf, meals, and similar benefits. Our written acknowledgment will state a good faith estimate of that value, as the IRS requires. Consult your tax advisor.
Yes. Printing, food and beverage, signage, gift items, and auction lots can all be credited toward a sponsorship level. We'll agree on the level with you in writing before the event.
For donated goods or services, WAF sends a written acknowledgment that describes what you gave — we do not state a dollar value. Under IRS rules, determining the value of a non-cash contribution is the donor's responsibility at the time of filing, and gifts above certain thresholds may require Form 8283 or a qualified appraisal. Please consult your tax advisor.
Sponsorships close November 15, 2026. Send your logo as soon as your package is confirmed — anything received close to or after that date can still appear on the website and in digital materials, but placement on printed signage cannot be guaranteed. Send vector (.AI, .EPS, or .SVG) plus a transparent PNG to [email protected].

Every package can be taken without the player spots — we'll either release those spots to the waitlist or convert them into an additional donation credit. Just note it on the form.

Our Mission
When a woman loses her husband, she often loses her stability too. The Widows Annuity Foundation (WAF) exists to ensure widows across America can age with dignity, free from fear, by providing monthly stipends for life.
• Nearly 1 in 3 widows over 65 lives at or near poverty (U.S. Census Bureau).
• Women live 5–7 years longer than men on average (Social Security Administration).
• Over 80% of women outlive their husbands (WISER).
• Widows experience an average 37% income decline within the first year of loss.
This financial shock forces too many widows to skip meals, forgo medicine, or even face eviction. Without intervention, many end up in shelters despite working and contributing their entire lives.
At WAF, we believe in lasting impact, not temporary aid. Our model ensures widows are supported for life:
1. Case worker assignment for personalized care.
2. Financial hardship affidavit + personal interview.
3. Verified references to ensure accountability.
4. Monthly stipends for life — restoring a standard of living with stability and hope.
Continuous stipends create stability, not just short-term relief.
• Case workers ensure resources are allocated fairly.
• Donors directly help widows maintain dignity, safety, and independence.
Every $1,000 monthly stipend prevents eviction, hunger, and despair.
Monthly financial assistance for widows.
Emotional support & peer groups.
Workshops to rebuild confidence and income.

Impact in Action
Mary’s Story
“After 45 years of marriage, I lost my husband — and my financial security. My Social Security dropped to $1,200/month. I couldn’t pay rent, buy groceries, and afford my medication. I thought I’d lose everything.
With help from the Widows Annuity Foundation, I now receive a monthly stipend that covers my rent. I can breathe again. I can live my final years at home, with dignity.”

How You Can Help?
Your donation makes an immediate, measurable difference:
• $500/month = keeps one widow from food insecurity 🍎
• $1,000/month = keeps one widow out of homelessness 🏠
• $12,000/year = changes a life forever ❤️
Together, we can rewrite the story for widows in America.
