The Problem
• Nearly 1 in 3 widows over 65 lives at or near poverty (U.S. Census Bureau).
• Women live 5–7 years longer than men on average (Social Security Administration).
• Over 80% of women outlive their husbands (WISER).
• Widows experience an average 37% income decline within the first year of loss.
This financial shock forces too many widows to skip meals, forgo medicine, or even face eviction. Without intervention, many end up in shelters despite working and contributing their entire lives.

1. Case worker assignment for personalized care.
2. Financial hardship affidavit + personal interview.
3. Verified references to ensure accountability.
